Online Bingo Top 5 Tips

Tip 1 - Bingo Budget

Bingo is a leisure game - so as with any form of leisure you choose, set yourself a budget. Bingo games start from just 5 pence per game, so if you’re planning on playing the maximum 10 games per hour, you’d need to set aside a minimum of 50p.

The best strategy is to decide what card value you’re going to use, and stick to it. In addition, decide how much cash you want to spend playing bingo each week – be it 50 pence, £1, £5, £10 or more. The great aspect of bingo is you can essentially decide how many hours of play you want per week and know the maximum expenditure you will require. Use this strategy to enjoy long-term bingo fun.

Tip 2 - Don’t Expect to Win!

Here is a great piece of advice – bingo is a game of luck so never expect to win or think the game ‘owes you something’. If you haven’t won for weeks, chill out and smile – bingo is really about fun and being happy whatever the result – take a break if you’re not enjoying it. In fact, most lucky players are the people who never thought they’d win!

Tip 3 - Never Chase Bingo Losses

Because most bingo games have small wager prices and strict limits (in addition to the fact you should always have a gaming budget), it’s not easy to rapidly drain a gaming bank. However, some bingo gamers like to progress to higher value cards after a losing game. Because bingo is random luck, you have no power over the result, meaning this strategy will probably not work ‘99.9%‘of the time.

Tip 4 - Make Bingo Buddies

Now this is the big reason to head online and play bingo – forum fun! As soon as you’ve picked a fun (keep it clean) bingo name, sign-up and head straight for the bingo forum and chat features (often available in-game and as a standalone chat facility). Many new bingo gamers hide in the background and never ‘buddy-up’, and they tend to leave disappointed with their experience. Think of playing bingo as your ‘first day at school’ – how much more fun was it once you’d plucked up the courage to join in? With a group of professional bingo hosts to keep things in order, you’ll be amazed at how much fun bingo becomes.

Tip 5 – Grab the Bingo Bonus

While frequent bingo wins come and go (you’ll find people who seem to win every game!), the bingo bonus is a guaranteed payout if you choose the right one. You should be able to search around and bag yourself up to £5 in 100% free bingo credits, which gives you hours of free play.

Moves to Avoid When Playing Blackjack

So you want to improve your blackjack game? There are lots of guides and articles around saying what you should do to improve. They are full of information and comprehensive but this can also be the problem; some are too technical and others take too long to read and reinforce.

So here are a few blackjack moves for you to avoid, which will help get you started immediately.

Standing - Choose a blackjack table where the dealer has to stand on a soft 17 rather than a soft 18. This is because the house edge is lower than when a dealer hits on a soft 17 by 0.02%. OK, it’s not much but its better to shave the house edge as much as possible as this can only help your finances in the long run.

Splitting - This is a great move in blackjack but only if used wisely. The main mistake that is made is splitting a decent hand into two separate losing hands, and for an additional cost! A simple to get you started; never split 10’s and 5’s, including all pairs of picture cards. You will only lose in the long run as you will either have to stand on a low total or are bound to go bust.

Busting - Believe it or not one of the worst tactics you can use is to never go bust. This is something which has been fooling new and experienced blackjack players alike for an eternity, and will continue to do so despite the obvious lack of logic that it is based on. If you never go bust you will continually stick on low hands which have no chance of beating the dealer. The dealer has to stand on soft 17, and you stand on 15 to prevent going bust. How is that ever going to make the game profitable for you?

Card counting - Basically, unless you are a fantastic mathematician or have a photographic memory, don’t even try. It’s more complicated than you think, and takes a lot of hard work. And if you thought it would reap immediate rewards; you’re wrong. The most important thing to note is that if you were thinking of trying card counting when playing online; think again. The Random Number Generator is exactly as it says; random. It can’t be beat in this way.

Doubling down - Do not avoid doubling down as it is very useful and is the best way to make more money more quickly. New players are often afraid of this move due to the additional wager and the uncertainty. Of course, it will only work if understood properly. Watch out for casinos that only let you double down on certain totals as these will be the hands with the better chance of the casino winning. If you know you have a good chance of winning; do not avoid the opportunity.

Online Bingo Las Vegas Style

There are several factors involved in choosing an online bingo room. For many bingo players it’s all about the chat room. They’re looking for the same social experience they used to find at their small weekly bingo game.

For other people bingo is a form of entertainment, an hour where they can forget about everything and have fun. Still, bingo is a form of gambling. The online gaming industry doesn’t exclude bingo. For the gamblers out there looking for a game of chance where they can win big money Las Vegas bingo is the way to go.

What you’ll find in a Las Vegas bingo room that you won’t find in some of the lower key bingo rooms is higher bingo card prices. Instead of nickels and dimes you’re looking at dollar values to buy one bingo card. The obvious benefit is higher overall jackpot bingos with progressive jackpots going up at an exponential rate.

The other thing gamblers can look forward to in a Las Vegas bingo rooms is side bets. Bingo isn’t your only choice. If chat rooms don’t float your boat while you’re waiting for the numbers to be called then you can take your chances on the small slot machines at the bottom of the screen. Some Las Vegas bingo websites even have electronic poker games, allowing a gambler to keep the money rolling during the lull of a long blackout bingo game.

Like all online bingo rooms there is a chat room, and there is bingo. The only differences are higher stakes and more of a casino form. Instead of the cards having a beach theme they have a Las Vegas theme with neon’s and numbers flashing across the board, side bets waiting at the bottom and usually links to online casino gambling websites when you want

While the Las Vegas bingo sites may offer higher stakes and flash and glitter, most online bingo players prefer a more low key approach. There are many Las Vegas sites to choose from and most of them are run by the big casinos in Vegas. They usually have higher per card prices but this is offset by the size of the jackpots. Side bets are very common, and the chat rooms can be quite active. These sites are very fast paced and offer an endless variety of bingo games. They do not seem to have the community atmosphere that some of the smaller sites have. These sites are for serious gamblers and are not for everybody. If it’s fast paced in your frace action you want then Las Vegas bingo might be for you.

Intermediate Blackjack Strategies the Streakcount System

The intermediate blackjack strategy discussed in this chapter centers around learning a simple plus minus card counting system. This is not as difficult as it first appears.

In fact I have taught thousands of average players in my schools and seminars the technique of card counting. Take a positive approach that you can and will learn it and I guarantee you will be rewarded with many profitable blackjack sessions. Before I get into the discussion of card counting, I want to digress and summarize the history of winning online blackjack strategies and give credit to the individuals who have made major contributions to our understanding of blackjack.

It all started in 1953 when Roger Baldwin and co¬workers undertook the first scientific analysis of the game of blackjack. Using hand calculators, they were able to develop the first basic blackjack playing strategy which they published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association in 1956. Baldwin and his co-workers then published a book, Playing Blackjack to Win in 1956. In the early 1960s, Dr. Edward Thorp used high speed computers to develop the first card counting system for blackjack. He published his ten count system in the classic book, Beat the Dealer, which became a best seller. His message was quite clear. Blackjack is a game of skill, not just luck, and the skillful player can beat the online casino. The casinos in Las Vegas began to panic after Thorp’s revelation. They started to change the rules of blackjack but in the process upset the majority of blackjack players who had no clue as to how to win. Although it was theoretically possible to have the edge over the casinos with Thorp’s card counting system, it was extremely difficult to implement for the average person in actual casino play. Therefore, blackjack popularity grew tremendously because of this discovery that it was a “beatable game.

Ironically, the casino’s profits also increased because more and more players flocked to play the beatable game but did not possess the skills or knowledge to do it. The next blackjack guru that came on the scene was Lawrence Revere. His book, Playing Blackjack as a Business, simplified card counting systems and also presented the basic strategy in colored charts to make learning the strategy even easier. Revere’s book started me on a career of doing my own studies about the games. Julian Braun, who worked for IBM and collaborated with Revere, further refined the basic strategy and the high-low count developed earlier by Harvey Dubner. His book, How to Play Winning Blackjack, clearly explained the mathematics of the basic strategy charts. I found Julian’s book to be extremely helpful to explain the reasons for certain basic strategy plays to novice players. Unfortunately, the book is now out of print. Other authors and researchers came onto the scene in the 70’s and 80’s. Stanford Wong, a professional blackjack player, wrote the classic book, Professional Blackjack. This was and still is the bible for card counters. I’ve learned a tremendous amount about blackjack through the writings of Stanford Wong he still authors books and a newsletter. The late Ken Uston popularized the concept of card counting teams in his book, Million Dollar Blackjack. Ian Anderson gave us new techniques for disguising our card counting skills in his book, turning the Tables on Las Vegas. Stanley Roberts started one of the first schools to teach players how to count. He was also one of the first to publish a national gambling magazine, Gambling Times, devoted to gambling. Other major contributors to. our knowledge of blackjack during this era included: Peter Griffin detailed mathematical studies and book, The Theory of Blackjack, Carlen Chambliss and Thomas Roginski Fundamentals of Blackjack, a very thorough survey of the entire field of blackjack, Arnold Snyder monthly blackjack publication, Blackjack Forum, Lance Humble and Carl Cooper World’s Greatest Blackjack Book, detailed study of his card counting system, Jerry Patterson Blackjack - A Winner’s Handbook and New Studies into Target Blackjack Systems, Steve Forte Read the Dealer, which explains how to read dealer tells,

Most Important Thing in Blackjack Tourneys

David Matthews - Get21 Professional writer

A lot of people wonder what is the most important quality to being successful in blackjack tournaments.

A lot of gamblers will say that the only thing that matters is luck. Whoever gets the best cards wins, and therefore anyone can win. The pros take it to another level by analyzing specific hand situations and determining what play will gain you 2% more than another play.

The pros will find those 2% edges, but a recreational player can improve their game by 50% or more by learning one thing. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO WIN.

I see many players lock themselves out of a possible winning situation by either betting poorly or playing poorly.

Take an example of betting poorly.

Say you’re heads up at the end and you have 1000 and your opponent has 1200, leading you by 200. I’ve seen some amateur players bet 50 there. Your opponent must only bet the minimum, say 25, and will automatically win. The 50 chip bet will only get you to 1050. Maybe you get a BJ and win 75 to 1075, or maybe you double and win and get to 1100. You have no chance at winning.

Technically in a BJ hand, you could win up to 8 bets, by splitting to 4 hands and then doubling each one, but this is extremely rare. No one should ever play based on this assumption. The best bet is something that will at least get the lead, such as 250, although I’d usually just bet the max.

As for playing with no chance to win, let’s look at that same situation where you have 1000 and your opponent has 1200.

Let’s say you bet 500 and your opponent matches your bet of 500.

You’re dealt a ten and a 7 for a hard 17.

He’s dealt a ten and a 9 for a hard 19.

The dealer has a 5. (It doesn’t matter what the dealer’s card is)

What’s your play here?

You have to double on the 17. If your opponent’s 19 wins, you may or may not win, but you won’t catch up either way. If your opponents 19 loses, you will definitely lose and not catch up.

Amateur players will stand on the 17. It seems crazy to double on a hard 17, but YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. Pros will double on that 17 100 times out of 100. You have to win more than 500 to get ahead of your opponent.

Will you probably lose? Your odds are very bad, but if you stand you have a 0% chance to win. By doubling you can catch an ace, 2, 3, or 4 and then win the hand and win the whole tournament!

You can learn all the intricacies of the game, but if you make bets or playing decisions that lock you out of contention, you can never win. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO WIN. Learn that, and you’ll win more tournaments than ever before.

Internet Bingo Strategy and Tips

Bingo is a very popular casino game of luck. There is no skill involved in the bingo game.

The player merely covers the numbers on the bingo tickets or cards as they are called. There is no way that the casinos player can affect the outcome of the game. So are there any gambling strategy and winning tips that can be given for bingo players? No, not really.

There is nothing that the bingo player can do to affect the outcome of the draw of the ball. The UK bingo is a fair game, one in which every number has the same chance of being selected as every other number. The gambling player wins if the numbers called match the numbers on his bingo card or ticket.

What can the player do? The player can do things that result in a higher probability of his having the winning card or ticket. Every ticket has the same probability of winning at the beginning of the bingo game. So the more tickets or cards the casinos player plays, the greater his probability of having the winning ticket.

This is why players play has many cards as possible. But the player should choose the time that he plays the additional cards since the additional cards represent additional expenditures. This means playing in games that aren’t crowded. This increases the probability of any one player having the winning card. If the pot size is tied to the size of the crowd, it may not pay to use this strategy. The player must determine this fact before using this strategy.

Due to the increasing popularity of bingo game, there are lots of internet bingo sites which offer to play bingo. The online bingo sites offer exciting features which make online playing more realistic and interesting. Many bingo sites offer virtual tournament with large cash prices. Kill the Skill Game Argument

Though on the surface it may appear as though the online poker world in the USA is doing the rest of the iGambling world a major favor by leading the fight to have the ban on online gambling lifted, I beg to differ.

First of all, to suggest that winning at poker requires more skill than most other betting games – like speculating on those “too-good-to-be-glue” horses – is not only missing the point altogether, but it also bound to adversely affect the pro-online gambling lobby in the long run, specifically the hundreds upon hundreds of the http://www.casinosviplounge.com/top-online-casinos.html”>online casinos and other gaming sites proliferating in cyberspace. (Another dozen or so will have sprung up by the time you finish reading this article.)

The real debate in America, after all, is not whether one game requires skill in order to improve one’s chances of winning, while other games like blackjack, roulette and craps etc. are all about luck and therefore deemed unsafe for Americans. If that were indeed the case, aside from poker, all wagering games like bingo, video poker, keno, sports betting, and lotteries would be banished from the US of A.

Morals, My Assets

Though the American Right would have us believe the argument revolves around ethics, in reality (where most of us live) nothing could be further from the truth, or more hypocritical. American citizens are totally free to enter any licensed land-based casino right now and gamble away everything they bought (on credit) on games based on pure luck like slot machines and video poker. Thus the debate is political in nature – pure and simple – and fueled on by protectionists bent on safeguarding their land-based casino assets, the horse racing industry, and state lottery monopolies.

At the end of the day America will wind up reversing its ban on online gambling. But only after it realizes just how much mega-money it is losing by NOT legalizing, taxing and regulating the online gaming industry, compounded by the insane cost of trying to enforce its futile and blatantly discriminating war on (some) gamblers in order to protect the Caesars, Trumps and other land casinos from good old healthy competition. With the UK and increasingly more EU countries embracing online gambling and inching closer to regulating the industry, Old Europe’s is now showing the Americans a few card tricks they’ve never seen before. When the US finally does wake up and smell the coffers, much will have been long lost to those more enlightened united states across the pond.

Don’t Thank the Banks

The true culprits are the banks and credit card companies whose very business depends on lending out money to ‘customers’ with the hopes (and good luck) that these same ‘customers’ will fall into even deeper debt and subsequently need to borrow more money to purchase more lottery tickets, more cigarettes, more alcohol, and more over and under the counter drugs.

The first step towards building a safer, regulated online gambling industry is not by differentiating between skill and luck-based wagering games, but rather by better regulating the banks. If the banks, credit card companies and other financial institutions would just stop lending people more money than they should – not to mention at exorbitant interest rates – perhaps we’d be getting somewhere.

Introduction to Futures

Introduction to Futures

You may or may not have already learned that future bets are wagers placed far in advance of a sporting event after reading our Overview of Sports Gambling Bet Types.

The basics are all there, so the purpose of this article is to explain why futures offer such strong value and give tips on improving your chances to win when betting futures.

The main advantage of futures is that you can get appealing odds by betting when oddsmakers first release them or well before an event is decided. For example, placing a future wager on the Kentucky Derby a month ahead of time can get you a much better price on a horse than betting much closer to the race when the real contenders are revealed for all to see. Future odds are not set and can be adjusted by sportsbooks periodically, but the odds at the time of your wager are the odds you are locked into.

A futures bet example with major team sports would be NFL futures, where you often can get much higher odds on a team by betting before the season starts. An NFL future bet on a team to win the Super Bowl might be 20/1 in the preseason, but by midseason, those odds might decrease to 10/1 if the team turns out to be a legitimate championship contender.

It’s important to note that sportsbooks can change futures at any time, and they are available to be bet all the way until the event gets underway. Future bets are also not restricted to the championship game, as you can bet on who will win a conference or division too.

Future bets in NFL and college football, NBA and college basketball and MLB baseball are team-oriented in that you bet on the team’s performance while proposition bets on non-team future events that involve individuals like boxing, tennis, golf and NASCAR are also available. Keep in mind that with futures you are always betting that the event will happen, on whether the team will accomplish something such as a championship and not against their chances of doing so. For example, if Duke is 5/1 to win the NCAA Basketball Championship, you can bet $100 on Duke and will win $500 if they win it all - but with standard future betting you cannot bet against Duke winning it all.

Tips to Win

The key to betting futures is realizing their true value and using the right Tips to Win. The most important consideration is determining what changes a team has made to enhance their chances of vying for a championship like the Super Bowl or World Series. Draft choices, coaching changes, free-agent signings, trades and returning starters all impact a team’s ability to compete, so each aspect should be considered when making your future bet.

The Draft

The draft is a much bigger factor in NBA basketball and NFL football since a rookie can approach superstar status much earlier (i.e. LeBron James) than other sports like MLB baseball where it can take years for players to develop. Of course the way the drafts are structured, the weaker teams almost always select players higher than the stronger teams. However, elite teams like the San Antonio Spurs and New England Patriots are well-known for making the most of their picks despite poor draft positioning.

Player Movement

Nothing has changed the landscape of sports over the past 20 years more than free agency. Superstars like Shaquille O’Neal can simply walk away at the end of their contracts, forcing their teams to decide the likelihood of their re-signing and potentially trading them before their contracts are up to get something in return.

O’Neal is a perfect example to examine since he left the Orlando Magic as a free agent to join the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996, leaving the Magic with nothing in return. Eight years later, he forced the Lakers to trade him to the Miami Heat so the Lakers could get something in return while he was still under contract since he made it known he would not re-sign with them.

O’Neal’s status changed the balance of power between the Eastern and Western Conference in both situations, with the Heat becoming serious title contenders in his first year with the team. A smart NBA futures bettor would have put money on the Heat to win the NBA title or Eastern Conference right after the trade was made.

In NBA basketball and MLB baseball, the midseason trade deadline could also be very critical to a team’s improvement. The New York Yankees tried very hard to yank ace pitcher Randy Johnson from the Arizona Diamondbacks at the 2004 deadline and probably would have won the World Series if they had done so. Instead, they were forced to wait until the offseason to make the trade for Johnson and didn’t have enough pitching to get past the Boston Red Sox, who went on to win the World Series.

In college football and basketball, there is the added dimension of a team’s returning starters. Graduation or early defection of players to the pros play a critical role in the team’s makeup for the next season and should be examined. However, while losing a Heisman Trophy winner like quarterback Carson Palmer in 2003 seemed to be a blow to USC’s chances of winning a national title, it also allowed another Heisman Trophy winner to shine in Matt Leinart, so not all losses hurt an NCAA program.

Timing is everything with player movement. Sometimes these moves pay off, sometimes they don’t, but they often seem to give teams a fighting chance in bettor’s minds and make future bets more interesting.

Coaching Moves

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made big news during the 2002 offseason when they pried Jon Gruden away from the Oakland Raiders to be their head coach. Tampa Bay management felt like they had the right players in place and just needed the right person to put all the pieces together and lead the way.

After a series of hiring mishaps, including the failed recruitment of coaching legend Bill Parcells, Gruden turned out to be their man and proved to be the difference. It wasn’t cheap since it cost the Buccaneers a number of draft picks and money, but nobody could argue it wasn’t worth the price when they won their first Super Bowl. The best futures price on the Bucs turned out to be before the regular season started and the full impact of Gruden was felt in Tampa and throughout the rest of the NFL.

Measuring True Value

Once you put all of the Tips to Win together, you need to try to measure the true value of a team’s future bet chances. But your perception of how well a team will perform and how you interpret the significance of the Tips to Win will determine whether or not a team is worth betting on.

Sometimes a team comes along like the 1999 St. Louis Rams, who won the Super Bowl that year despite entering the season as a longshot at incredible 200/1 odds. When such longshots come in it demonstrates another strong appeal of future bets, that a fan can make a small bet on a longshot, enjoy following their results all season, and just maybe cash a huge ticket! A safer approach is to pick a playoff team or one that just missed out from the previous year and made some smart moves to turn them into a contender.

Betting the preseason favorite like last year’s champs is a bit risky since their odds are already so low and a lot more money would need to be wagered to make it worthwhile. However, there is still some value in instances like this if you feel strongly that they can go deep into the playoffs again. The further they go, the smaller their odds will likely get along the way and the more value you will have by betting far in advance.

That’s the bottom line with any futures bet - the true value comes down to how you feel about a team compared to the oddsmaker’s projections. If your Tips to Win point to a team worth betting on and that team ultimately follows through, you’ll have a rooting interest all season long and will get the very most out of your futures wager!

No Limit Holdem Strategy

The most basic strategy is do not play unless you can afford it and also are better than average cash player. No Limit tournaments are a different matter as the most you can lose is your buy-in.

No limit poker is all about knowing when to push a hand and when to fold it. No limit poker is a game of serious aggression and not for the timid of heart. It is a game where money is power and can be used as a weapon. This is true in both cash games and tournaments. Watch any tournament and you see players go all in with small pairs and other players with better pairs fold. An aggressive player has an advantage in a No Limit game.

Unless you are on a rush of cards and winning hands be careful of calling large bets on the come. Hunches can be valid, but realize that a hunch may be just a strong wish.

Tournament play is far different than cash play for the basic reason that the buy-in fee for the tournament limits the cost of the game. A cash game is only limited by the willingness of the player to buy more chips.

A limit game is not advantageous to an aggressive player as the amount that can be bet is set. A no limit game lets the player decide the amount that can be bet at any time. This also opens the game to more bluffing and position play. Two players that both hold ace king may be decided by who gets to bet first and the size of the bet. Here position may decide who wins the hand.

Cash game no limit or even high limit is a game where the experts play and is not for an amateur in most cases. If the money is important to the player they should pass on the cash game, as the size of the bets will influence the way they play and could lead to poor decisions.

On the other hand, the non-expert can win a no limit tournament because the money loss is limited to the buy-in fee. This is one of the reasons why you see so many young players at the final table on the TV tournaments. That reason and the fact that they have played for hours on the Internet make them very dangerous.

Anyone who can afford the buy in fee can play in a no limit tournament game. This absolutely not true for the no limit poker games.
